Cookie statement.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit it. Cookies help a website to function, for example by remembering settings during your visit. A cookie cannot run programs or carry viruses.

We also use the word "cookie" here for similar techniques, such as local storage in your browser, where these have a comparable effect.

Which cookies we use.

We only use functional and security cookies. These are necessary to make the website work and to keep it safe, so under the rules they do not require your consent.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. We do not measure your behaviour across other websites.

Third-party content.

Some pages may show content that is loaded from another provider, such as an embedded map on our contact page. That provider may place its own cookies when the content loads. We have no control over those cookies; the relevant provider's own cookie policy applies to them. Where such content is present, we keep it to a minimum.

Your consent.

Because we only use functional and security cookies, we do not show a cookie wall and we do not ask for consent to place them. If we ever decide to use cookies that do require consent, we will ask for it first and update this statement.

Managing cookies.

You can manage and delete cookies yourself through your browser settings. There you can also set your browser to refuse cookies or warn you before one is placed. If you block all cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.

• In most browsers you will find these options under Settings, then Privacy or Privacy and security.
• You can usually clear existing cookies through the option to clear browsing data.

Changes to this statement.

We may update this cookie statement, for instance when our website or the rules change. The version shown at the top of this page is the current one.
